Managed Service Offering:
This proactive service will provide a health check and quarterly maintenance review of your VMware Horizon and Unified Access Gateway or Citrix Apps and Desktops and ADC (NetScaler) environments.
Initial Engagement: (1st Quarter)
- Full Health check and Documentation of the environment
o Review VMware Horizon / Citrix Apps and Desktops current patch level
o Review VMware Horizon / Citrix Apps and Desktops Administrators
o Review VMware Horizon / Citrix Apps and Desktops Policies
o Review Citrix User Profile Management / VMware User Environment Manager configuration
o Review Active Directory Group Policies for inconsistencies and Best Practice
o Validate Citrix SQL Database configuration, consistency, and backups
o Validate VMware Desktop Pools / Citrix Site, Machine Catalog, and Delivery Group consistency
o Validate VMware Composer / Citrix Machine Creation Services Master Images and Backups
o Validate Citrix Provisioning Services vDisk Store, and Backups
o Review historical statistics for the previous month, document any findings that fall outside of the typical performance thresholds
o Validate License server, and current SA, or Software Maintenance
o Validate Citrix StoreFront / Horizon Connection Server configuration and patch level
o Validate NetScaler / Unified Access Gateway configuration, firmware version, and general health
o Review VMware / Citrix Infrastructure Event Logs
o Review common EUC security vulnerabilities, and provide remediation recommendations
- Generate report of recommended updates, optimizations, and enhancements found during Health check
- Up to 4 hours of Health Check issue remediation included
Quarterly Review: (Following 3 Quarters)
- Basic Health check of the environment
- Up to 4 Hours per Quarter of Health Check issue remediation included
Quarterly Review and Updates: (Following 3 Quarters)
- Basic Health check of the environment
- Up to 4 Hours per Quarter of Health Check issue remediation included
- Apply current stable VMware / Citrix Cumulative Update or Current Release Version
- Apply current stable Unified Access Gateway / NetScaler Firmware updates
